* Prof. Zimmerling  will be on leave during the summer term 2012. Her regular classes will be substituted: The lecture in Political Theory will be held by Prof. Dr. Andreas Niederberger (Frankfurt a.M.). Karl Marker provides a seminar for the MA, Jürgen Sirsch for the BA Advanced Political Theory Module and Stefan Schlag the seminar for the basic module Political Theory.

* On Feb. 9, 2012 (6-8 pm, SB II 05-432), Prof. Chandran Kukathas (LSE) will give a paper on a topic related to the seminar on "Group rights" (see below) in the department's staff seminar. All interested students are invited!

* On Nov. 9, Prof. Geoffrey Brennan (ANU, UNC/Duke) will present and discuss topics from his recent work on interdisciplinarity and on "The feasibility issue" (with P. Pettit) with the Political Theory PhD Research Group. (Participation by personal invitation only.)
